These Lulworth-style driveway gates are made in a rich red-toned hardwood. The arched top has open spindles, and the solid lower panels carry diagonal braces. Heavy galvanised hinges and a drop bolt fix them to brick piers, giving a traditional estate look.
Painted in a soft sage green, this pair of Kimmeridge gates has close boarding below and a row of open spindles along the top. A ring handle sits at the centre, and each leaf hangs on square timber posts. Painting the timber lets the gates match a house's colour scheme.
Left to weather naturally, the timber on these double gates has turned a silvery grey. The top edge sweeps down to the centre and the bottom rises in a matching curve. A ring pull and a drop bolt keep them closed between old red brick piers.
